Has anyone had a refund from Eon next for credit on your account if you have prepayment meters? I have been transferred from Npower and have credit on both my gas and electricity but can't get a refund as been told system won't allow it.

Hi there, it's Beki here.

Credit on your online account for a prepayment meter is not 'credit' as such. With the migration from Npower and setting up your previous history, we needed to important payments that you had made and so this credit is not valid credit and is a representation of what you have paid. I understand that this is not very clear and could be confusing, however with a prepayment meter you pay in advance for your energy and so a build up of credit is not possible 😊

Hey there!

Could you show me some photos of your meters please? Getting refunds for Prepayment meters is a bit more tricky than it is for Credit meters, so I could do with seeing some photos so that I know what you've got. I'll keep an eye out for your reply and will respond again as soon as I can.
