E-on policy on billing when meter signal goes missing

Depending on what the helpful Nexties uncover, I'd assume you'd be on estimated billing until either comms returned or they decided to revert to a standard tariff.
The meter holds 12 months + of data that will become available when reconnected, so I don't think there needs to be a rush to change things.

Your suggestion is entirely sensible. It would also be entirely sensible to adjust the time periods for off peak and peak pricing to match those of the drive tariff.

this could be done simply enough while the meter was on - line, just in case connectivity was later lost. It would enable the customer to retain drive pricing and correct billing without the need for engineer (s) visits.

    A win-win?
