Interestingly they speculate that suppliers may offer fixed price deals around the level of the July price cap. Would that tempt any of us?

So what is the level of the july price cap ??
Probably about a tenner off a months bill, and standing charges treble. Soembody has to oay for their fine. It won't be the companu that is for sure. It will be the customers.
I'm hoping the October price cap will be somewhat lower than anticipated. Judging by the current wholesale gas prices, I'd expect energy prices to drop by at least a third. 68p a therm today.

we can all hope for lower prices, but the correlation between wholesale prices and domestic tariffs is very complicated and. As I don’t have the data and methodology that Cornwall Insight have, I just have to trust them and their caveated predictions.
