IHD showing incorrect data - gas only

Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem - my IHD had been showing all my gas and electric reading normally up until today which I use to add to my spreadsheet, but this morning I thought it strange that the gas reading for yesterday was exactly the same as the previous day.
I then compared the readings and it seems the IHD is now displaying the data one day late, eg the data on the IHD for Tuesday is actually Mondays data, the data on the IHD for Wednesday is actually Tuesdays etc. I went back to the first date showing on the IHD, which is currently 4th Jan, and it shows £0.00 and 0.00 kWh for that day!!

Checking the Bright app and the data is showing normally on there, so the issue is only with the IHD and only affects the gas reading. I have tried switching it off and then on again, but that made no difference so I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this before

@solidbond perplexing as the IHD gets its data from the meters via the communications hub. perhaps the meters have somehow got out of syn with days.

Current Eon Next and EDF customer, ex Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.

I haven't had exactly that problem, but about three months ago my IHD suddenly stopped showing my gas usage completely for no apparent reason. About ten days later, it miraculously 'recovered' and started showing my gas usage again, so yours might hopefully do the same. Mine had also been showing the incorrect gas tariffs and not sending Smart readings in since April 2022, but on New Years Eve just gone, it started showing the correct tariffs again. It still isn't sending Smart readings in yet, but I can hope.😃

Thanks for the replies @meldrewreborn and @Tommysgirl. I've just looked and for some unknown reason the IHD is now showing all the data correctly. Guess it's just one of those weird and wonderful things about technology 😉

OK - so something weird is definitely happening! The IHD is doing it again, except now it's the 5th Jan, which is the earliest date the IHD shows, that shows no gas usage and all the following days are out of sync by one day🙄
