Afternoon.. I have an old RTS meter, however I do not use economy 7 and my heating and hot water is run from a gas combi boiler. I also do not want a smart meter, so can anyone advise whether I will be affected by the RTS switch off please? Thank you 🙂

In theory, if your meter peak and off peak times are controlled by the RTS system then you may just end up with a meter that is stuck recording on one or other register. As you don't need it to control an electric heating system, you will be functionally fine.
What you will need to do is contact customer services as your meter will likely need replacing du to being well outside the end of it's certified working life.

Your options appear to be limited with Eon Next if you do not want a smart meter according to the above link. That being said it appears that you don't have the requirement for Economy 7 as you use gas for CH/DHW.Last edited by Mailman; 01-02-24 at 10:53. Reason: Additional comments
