IHD still not working with gas 14 months after gas meter replacement

    @SmartMeterQueries The original faulty meter was found faulty because it was a smart meter enabling me to obseve usage whilst the gas was turned off, this didn't take very much convincing EON, they even paid compensation and got the meter replaced. My biggest issue was with the replacement meter that never connected to the IHD and subsequent various apps and online DCC data providers. Got it sorted in the end, unfortunately it did take the formal process of escalation, but sorted before it had to go to the ombudsman. I always check my usage, which was the biggest issue I had with the replaced meter. I am now on my third meter and this one was commissioned correctly and IHD and all apps and DCC data providers are reporting the usage. To give EON credit, they got it replaced, something Octopus refused to even entertain attempting to support.

    I've now escalated my issue, so hoping it'll be sorted soon before my bill due date...
