An engineer came to install a smart meter at my house yesterday. The smart meter wouldn't sync and the engineer got no response from his dispatcher for almost three hours. Which meant he was sitting in his van and I was stuck waiting too. In the end he removed the meter and put my old one back in.
During this time:
Do you have any functioning customer service at the moment? Should I go straight to the Ombudsman?
Oh and by the way - I even had to pay for the engineer's parking 🤣

- I contacted support by phone: they disconnected after 20 mins.
- I contact support by WhatsApp: after the initial 'give us your details' prompts I've had no response from the service at all. That was more than 24 hours ago.
- I logged a complaint by email: no response (not even an acknowledgement of receipt).
Do you have any functioning customer service at the moment? Should I go straight to the Ombudsman?
