My Smart meter is not submitting gas readings since changing renewing tariff, contacted Eon about the lack of readings and I was told to submit readings until something was sorted.
I went to the meter and took a reading after pressing 9 on the keypad. The reading I got was 5102.
When I logged in to submit the reading a box popped up and said "Check the reading as it seems high."
I went and checked the reading and it was a s previous.
The last submitted reading on 24 Jan 2022 was 4429 - the reading this morning is 5102 and on reflection that is much higher than same time last year.
I have found the answer to the problem, it was the way I was reading the smart gas meter.
You read the Gas and electric meter in a different way.
To read the Electric meter you press 9 on the keypad and after 'IMP KWH' you then get the reading.
To read the Gas meter you press 9 on the keypad and wait for 'VOLUME' then you get your reading.
For Gas I was waiting for 'IMP KWH' which is wrong.
