I cant connect a chameleon technology ihd3 (2022) to my smart meter. Should i be able to this myself or do i need to contact eon customer support.

@Interceptor - if the IHD came with the original smart meter installation it will (should) have been configured to work by the installation engineer : if that's the case it's worth calling EOn C.S to see if they can help.

Check to see if the HAN light is flashing every 5 seconds on the Comms hub, which indicates your meter's home network (ZigBee not wifi) is working ok

If it's an IHD you've purchased separately yourself it won't be able to connect ...(unless it's something like a Glow CAD/IHD which will have been correctly configured by the manufacturer at purchase time)

@Interceptor IHDs are uniquely security locked to a particular smart meter (comms hub thereof). If it is not the IHD that originally came with the meter, you have no chance. Eon CS may have a faint chance but it would involve much hoop jumping so they probably wouldn't bother. The GLOW Cad mentioned above is a superior solution, but spends 99% of it's time being 'out of stock'.
