    Hi all,

Next Drive Smart V5 tariff pilot test

I’ve set this up a few weeks again and the eon app, car, charger are all connected.

Eon app shows a schedule on 30 min slots at random times but doesn’t actually charge.

    - I’ve tried removing the plug and inserting into the car again
    - Manually starting the charge with the Wallbox app

If I start the charge manually on a smart scheduled slot it works, will I get charged the peak rate?

Any ideas on how to work around getting it to charge by itself?

    thanks in advance 😁

What car? There are some other threads / issues with Tesla at the moment.

If you can start from the wallbox, then it likely means the wallbox is stopping the charge - it needs to be set to 'charge immediately' or similar such that it would charge any car plugged in immediately with no intervention.

By connecting your car through the Eon app, that will ensure the car only draws during scheduled cheap slots.

Now, if the app says it's a cheap slot and the car is showing as connected then it 'should' be at cheap rate, even if started manually.
