I have the Next Connect app installed and apparently set up correctly.
I have deleted the 12am to 7am schedule I had on the Wallbox app.
I followed the instructions to setup the car to allow EON to control charging.
However it's not charging until I unlock the charger in the Wallbox app. If I unlock it manually at midnight it will start charging according to the schedule set by the Next Connect app, but it doesn't start charging unless I unlock it.
When I plug the car in, if I unlock the charger it starts charging immediately regardless of the Next Connect schedule. Then if I stop the charge in the wallbox app it soon locks the charger again and has to be manually unlocked before it will charge.
It seems like there should be a setting in the Wallbox app to allow the Next Connect app to control the charger, but I've not been able to find anything.
The charger was supplied and fitted by EON and was working fine until I started with the Next Drive Smart V2 tarrif.
The smart tariff controls the car, not the wallbox.
The wallbox needs to be left unlocked.
Your issue is that the car then starts charging immediately and isn’t being controlled properly by E.On - what car is it? Did the test charge from the app work?
