On Sunday there are 2 important events.
Clocks go forward at 1am. Unfortunately one less hour in bed but to compensate the evenings are lighter.
Sunday is of course Mothering Sunday/Mother's Day.
I knocked on my neighbours doors clutching my two pairs of eclipse glasses and enabled about 15 people to see the sight - including some just passing our front door.
As I'm interested in astronomy I knew of the partial eclipse and the timings - and we had almost completely clear skies for once. However, I don't find all the hype actually helps, but I suppose seeing it in the flesh is better than seeing it on the TV.
