@DebF_EONNext Is there any chance of following the "tentacles" and connecting to the charger instead e.g. the Ohme which can then quite happily monitor the SOC of the car.
@Yuki Have a look at this post discussing how the tentacled one actually connects to the car itself (via its on board SIM) to control the charging. They seem to have many more vehicles on their list than EOn, so maybe more will be included as the new smart tariff evolves https://community.eonnext.com/thread...ll=1#post58769
@DebF_EONNext signed up and finally connected my Enyaq. The problem is, I can get a schedule, but when the Eon app stops the first charge in the schedule, the car reports as being unplugged, the Eon app changes to unplugged and the rest of the schedule does not run. I seem to only get the first scheduled charge!
@DebF_EONNext Hi - Why do you not support Kia EV3 as it was announced back in Feb 2025 as the UK Car of the Year 2025 (not just best electric car) and then 2 weeks ago was announced as World Car of the Year 2025 (again not just electric car). We have a smart EV charger (upgraded from our old 2017 charger) and a Kia EV3, but yet we still can't get onto your Next Drive Smart V4 tariff. Why not? and if there are plans When?
I've had a few DM queries about the Next Drive Smart v2 (not to be confused with Next Drive) recently as we've sent out invites for testing. Some people have received an invite however their car isn't on the list so can't take part. The reason for this is because we are only able to communicate with certain vehicle brands and models at this time.
Just to give you the heads up the vehicles that we can currently communicate with can be found on this list on our website: E.ON Next: Next Drive Smart Tariff - Supported Vehicles this has no impact on the current Next Drive EV tariff 😊
If you are currently taking part in the tariff test we would love to hear your thoughts on it 🚗⚡
With this "Next Smart Drive V2 tariff" Can you confirm?
1. Is the whole home at 6.7p when the eon app is controlling the charge?
2. When would the £10.00 be paid to users?
