    Hey everyone

A few years ago our amazing community helped us make some important changes to our bereavement journey after you highlighted where we were getting things wrong. We've come quite a way since then, but with such an important topic we want to make sure we're doing everything we can to get it right.

So, we're hoping you can help us again by sharing your experiences, or just telling us what we do well and not so well.

If you'd rather not share publicly, which is totally understandable as I know it can be a sensitive subject, then please send me a Direct Message.

Looking forward to working together to make more positive changes ❤

As one who was critical in times past, I can only comment that the number of issues reported to the forum is greatly reduced, so credit is due for making the improvements.

While death awaits us all, dealing with the estate of someone that has passed is not something that happens frequently in our lives. If the matter is dealt with sensibly there is little reason for cases to get to the forum. But anyone adversely affected can be under great emotional stress, and the small issues can get greatly magnified, so careful handling is required.

I know of someone who hasn’t commenced clearing their parent’s home 13 months after they passed!

That's really good to hear @meldrewreborn thank you! It didn't feel great at all when we were getting it so wrong, really proud that with the backing of our great members we got a lot of this changed.

Having recently dealt with this myself with my Grandma, it was very smooth sailing (although let's not talk about HMRC) but I definitely learnt a lot from the posts on here to make sure we were fully prepared and organised. But like you say, everyone is different and we want to make sure both ends of the spectrum get the level of service they should.

Thanks again for sharing your thoughts 😀
