Hi
we have just changed our Broadband/wifi supplier and since the switch over our Smart meter has not been loading our usage statistics to the Eon Next App.
This is obviously because new WiFi details aren’t being picked up but I can’t find any way of doing this. Eon haven’t replied to my emails, is there anyone can help
SMART meters use the cellular phone network so have no connection to your WiFi.
The app not getting data is nothing to do with your internet connection.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.

Not unusual to occasionally have periods of missing data, but as @retrotecchie said definitely nothing to do with your Wi-Fi. You'll possibly find the gaps may well populate over time. Just keep an eye on it.
@retrotecchie
thanks for that - so it’s a coincidence that data stopped at the exact time I switched routers
The router uses the 2.4GHZ band. The meter uses cellular frequencies. However a new router may or may not interfere with the IHD. But both the WiFi in the router and the Zigbee communications between the meter and your IHD will frequency hop until they find a free channel.
But the meter not sending data to the DCC (which is where all the apps get their data from) has nothing to do with your broadband/router. So very likely just a coincidence.
