❀ This incredible milestone not only showcases our collective passion and dedication but also amplifies the power of connection, support and shared experiences πŸ’œ.

❀ Together, we're creating a dynamic space where ideas spark and fuel our mission to innovate and inspire in the world of energy.

❀ We are grateful for every single one of you as every voice contributes to a brighter, more sustainable future!

Here's some cool facts to celebrate this milestone πŸ€— ⬇:

πŸƒ Did you know, in the UK, the average household consumes about 18,000 kWh of energy annually! ⚑

πŸƒ A typical onshore wind turbine can generate enough electricity to power around 18,000 homes 😲.

πŸƒ With 18,000 solar panels installed across various locations, the UK could harness enough solar energy to power thousands of homes, promoting a shift towards sustainable energy sources 🌏.

I would love to know if anyone has any fascinating facts that include 18,000 - so feel free to share if you've got them πŸ˜‰.

The UK has had about 18000 flu-related deaths in the last two years.

There are two remaining Type 18000 locomotives in the UK. Unique in that they were the last two locomotives ordered by an independent railway operator (GWR) but weren't delivered until GWR had been fully amalgamated into British Rail. They use gas turbine engines powered with kerosene...effectively jet aeroplane engines.

The Scottish Government have given a commitment to plant 18000 hectares of trees in Scotland over the next three years.

I have a LEGO collection that passed the 18000 element milestone just before Christmas. The average number of LEGO bricks owned by every person on the planet is estimated to be 86.

The UK's solar capacity has increased by over 18,000% since 2010, when it was just 0.0937 gigawatts (GW). As of October 2024, the UK's installed solar capacity was 17 GW.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.

@retrotecchie I love that Lego fact although I feel like my sons Lego is somewhere around the same number of bricks as the planet combined, it's everywhere!

Have you added anything new to your Lego collection recently? Also what's your largest build?

The last thing Teen-ogre built was Bowser from Mario - he got it the Christmas before last but only got around to building it at Christmas just gone! This set alone is 2807 pieces πŸ˜…

No 'new' LEGO as such but I've got a few more retro 171 train sets from Ebay in recent weeks. I now have over twenty. My first and original one I bought with a month's pocket money in 1975. The last one cost me about the same as a month's electricity bill 🀣🀣🀣

My most recent 'new' set was the Land Rover Defender I got in December 2023.

My largest 'build' is the overall train set which accounts for about 15000 pieces in total.

@DebF_EONNext We are indeed! My nephew had gotten the Eiffel tower lego set for Christmas, 10,001 pieces and it took him a week to build and it's 4.8ft tall! πŸ˜… Patience of a saint πŸ˜‚
