Hi
My mum has been in her house for 4 years, with a different energy supplier. At the weekend, she got an EON bill for over £300.
There has been no other correspondence from them in the time she has been there - and certainly no bill.
I've just rung but got nowhere so far.
Anyone else had this?
@Hibaldstow10 - the EOn bill will show the Meter Point Administration Number (MPAN - referred to as the supply number) which is unique to the property, and for gas the Meter Point Reference Number (MPRN) as shown in the screenshot.
Do these numbers match the ones on the bills from the "different" energy supplier? If so have they transferred the account over to EOn for some reason?
I've asked the excellent Eon Next forum staff to look at this issue for you. One of them will be in touch, probably by sending you a private message for more details.
Welcome to our Eon Next Community, I am Indy one of the community coordinators. 😊
Firstly I am sorry to hear your mother has received a statement from Eon Next which she is unaware about and I will surely look into this for you. I will just pop you a dm as I would need a couple of details so I can check this on our end.
If there is anything else you need please drop us a message or a tag. 💜

Got a question about the launch of our Everyday Tracker - why not check out 👉 Everyday Tracker FAQs👈
is the bill from Eon - who only deal with business customers - or from Eon Next? If the latter @Indyk_EONNext is already on the case.
If its from Eon Business, then you'll need to contact them. Almost certainly its a mistake by those sending the bill.
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
