Is this a configuration issue that needs to be done by EON at your end, a configuration needed on the device itself, or the need for a new smart meter that understands PV Solar?
Why does my smart meter not see my PV Solar exports
-
My question relates to my Wifi smart meter which does not appear to understand that I have a solar installed. I had PV solar and a battery installed by another company, but EON now pay me for the excess electricity that I generate - if there is any. However, my Small Wi-Fi smart meter, does not appear to understand that I have solar installed. I have not been generating much electricity this month, but whenever I am drawing power from the battery my meter thinks that it is exporting power to the grid. Is there nota way to tell my smart meter that I have a PV solar installation and a battery, so the information it provides is correct?.

The IHD is just a remote display which picks up readings from the meter, and is intended for showing your current electricity consumption and (approximate) real time cost of usage.
I don't know if (certain) IHDs may be capable of displaying export totals, but your best bet will be looking at the display on the actual meter itself, which I presume will have the export information -
@geoffers Yes I was referring to the IHD ... thank you for that clarification.
