I unfortunately had smart meters installed by eon next recently. There was no IHD installed. I have a previous thread here:

For info, I still do not have an IHD.
In the email chain with Eon Next about the IHD, they have recently:
1. asked for the detailed information about the location of the meters, pets, parking etc, a number of times so far, with still no appointment for an IHD.
2. asked for meter readings. I have explained that I cannot see meter readings on the smart meters.
3. They have asked for photos of the smart meters which I have sent them.
4. They have asked for a video of the electricity meter cycling through displays so they can see what the problem is (with no meter reading obvious).
5. They cannot access a youtube video so asked me to send the file (for security reasons - is a file attachment really more secure???).
6. When they open the compressed (to fit an email) video file the video does not work. I am guessing their network is blocking the video file for security reasons.
I am completely fed up now with the whole process. If you were me, what would you do next? My thoughts are raise an official complaint or move provider and get different smart meters installed.
