    Hello everyone! 😀

As i'm sure a lot of you are aware - we have now launched the newest version of our Next drive tariff. 🎉

There are some slight changes on this one - most notably for our Solar customers, you must now own an EV. However - We have agreed that solar battery customers can still have the Next Drive tariff in the interim until Solar Boost is ready to go 😁

You'll be pleased to hear it's exactly the same price as the previous version with:

    • Lowest off-peak rate of all the major suppliers! (6.7p)
    • Longest off-peak period in the whole market! (12am - 7am)
    • No exit fees
    • Fully backed by 100% renewable energy sourced in the UK

    There are some slight changes:

    • You must have an EV (Once the Solar Boost tariff is Live this tariff will no longer be available to customers with a solar storage system)
    • Every tariff sale comes with a one-off donation to Woodland Trust
    • Every customer has access to Zoom EV benefits

If you have any questions please let us know! 😁

Just be aware that the savings for electricity are partially outweighed by the increase in gas, so in my case I split my tariff to remain on Drive V3 for gas and switched to Drive V5 for electricity only

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I signed up over a month ago and I am still waiting to be transferred from the Next Flex tariff to Next Drive.
When I switched from British Gas, the Eon website stated that we would be on the Flex tariff for around a week whilst our Next Drive account was set-up but when nothing happened I was told it was actually two weeks. After two weeks I was told about another week and now it's been over 4 weeks and still no sign of being moved over.
I've contacted Eon numerous times and have raised an official complaint but I get nothing from them but excuses.
Our smart meter has been giving out 30 minute data since we were with British Gas and I can see this data on third party apps such as Bright so there's no excuse for the delay.
British Gas offered me £150 to stay with them but I stuplidly refused. I could have taken the money and would have been on their similar EV tarif immediately.
EON Next did finally promise to back date the charges for electricity I have used during the cheaper overnight period but this won't cover all the times I have charged my car during the day before they told me this!

Looking through this forum and on the web it's obvious that I am not the only one in this situation. It seems to me that Eon Next have released a product that is not ready for market. They should not be signing up new customers until they have this fixed and have cleared their backlog of customers who are waiting!

Movers remorse here too, switched over on the 7th and no idea when the drive tariff will be active, my meters were only installed in Feb this year so if they claim they can't get things working there's something wrong as both are giving half hourly data data which is showing on the usual third party apps.

Going to have to ride it out and push to get my charges adjusted based on half hourly usage, wish I'd never made the swap I'd have been okay with IOG or Agile with Octopus.
