Has anyone with smart meters noticed any recent lack of updates for usage data obtained from 3rd party apps such as Bright, Ivie and even Eon Next? No data updates since the middle of the week now for any of these apps. Is it confined to my location only (The North) or is this a more widespread situation with the DCC and possibly LRR? Thankfully my IHD is still showing this data so I am still able to monitor how much juice I'm using.
last reading 18:00 yesterday. So nearly 18 hours down. I presume the data will reappear sooner or later. Any one desperate for information will have to look at their IHD or actual meter. Those with traditional meters are unaffected.
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
Just checked my in-laws account (on a SMETS 1 who live just a few miles away). Data up-to-date on their 'usage' data contained within the account so it must be a localised issue with missing data for 3/4 days.
All sorts of wierd and wonderful going on though. Although both the meter and IHD have the tariff rates, the IHD only shows the £ cost for electricity but not for gas ATM although a reboot usually brings it all back. So long as I get the kWh daily usage from somewhere I'm happy ( ATM that is only being provided by the much-maligned IHD) as costing (if needed) can be worked out quickly. 😉
As an aside I went into the Glowmarket web site and downloaded the daily numbers. Same missing data on their as well. Oh well not the end of the world. So long as the IHD keeps functioning and Eon Next can pull the actual meter reads I'm still happy and my particular data world will keep revolving with the least inconvenience to myself. 😁
Just checked in the last 5 mins and Bright appears to have sprung into life (at least for electricity) so just missing data for most of Wednesday-Saturday on that utility. Gas still proving to be stubborn though. The gas is the more important one for me as I really need to see the granular hourly data since I have been tweaking the boiler settings since it was installed just over 3 weeks ago (max flow temp/max power output/max pump speed are the big 3 for me). Currently sitting in a house warmed to 19C (in the lounge) having used 35kWh of gas since it fired up this morning. Started from 14C @ 0800 and now 9.5h later. Zero sunshine today where I live. windy and cold wind chill to boot (2C). If I can get away with keeping that temperature and not going past 50kWh gas today I'll be happy. Thank goodness I increased the loft insulation last winter. 😌
@Mailman how is your app now is it functioning? I know there was an issue with some firmware updates a few weeks back but I believe that issue was resolved 😊

Functioning OK. No missing data since my last post. Data is up to date as of 2 days ago with the Eon Next app whereas Bright is invariably up to date a day later sometimes earlier. 👍
