I wanted to check some discrepancies on my statements and I looked for historical prices of variable tariffs (looking for Economy 7), but could only find the current one at https://www.eonnext.com/electricity-.../tariff-prices.
I was wondering if anyone might have the historical PDFs (or links to them) - I am looking for prices starting in 2022 (until now). Sorry if there already is a post for this - couldn't find it!
However, there are no dates specified that I can see but they certainly go back to before 2022 because Gas prices are as low as 3.5p per kWh. I'd suggest using gas prices as a starting point if you don't know the exact name of the tariff you're looking for.
I think that the prices shown on your statements are most unlikely to be wrong, but you never know these days.
the more likely source of error is in regard to readings at particular points in time like the now quarterly price cap changes. Estimated readings are a prime candidate.
The prices would have been almost exactly as allowed by OFGEM, but for multiple price tier tariffs like economy 7 they will not display the data in a form to give day and night rates.
post again with your region and anything you can’t find, we love a detective hunt.
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
In my case, there have been some issues (I was charged for a different tariff and E.ON only just worked that out), and there have been some very interesting unit prices on my older statements, so I am trying to work out what the correct unit prices would have been at the time. There hopefully should not have been any issues with estimated prices - I was submitting meter readings very frequently and I have had a smart meter for most part.
Thank you for the information about the previous tariff tab (I never noticed!) - am I right in thinking that this is other tariffs rather than historical prices associated with Next Flex/Eco7? I don't think I found anything that would look like my tariff.
There are hundreds of E7 tariffs in that list and they aren't in date order, I know as I've just spent nearly an hour scrolling through them. For ease, click 'Load more' for as long as you dare (one click too many wiped my entire list) then Print/Save as pdf. You can load the pdf and use the search function, ie Next Flex and just view the matches. Or you could just use the search function in your browser, I prefer to keep a digital copy, I've always got it for reference if I ever need it again.
