    @KayH

    You should be absolutely fine then.
    Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.

    Hey @KayH

    Thank you so much for your picture.

    I can see the wires from the RTS meter go into the meter which will switch between the rates just like what @retrotecchie has said.

    When the switch off happens you will not be able to switch between the registers on the meter which also could stop the boiler pump switching on at a specific time if it is programmed to.

    When you said above that your boiler pump is electric does it come on at specific times of the day? If it does i would recommend to get it replaced as i wouldn't like your supply to be effected if it is controlled by the radio teleswitch.

    Thanks
    Leigh 💟

    The RTS simply controls the switching of the meter registers as @KayH has switched from a dual rate to a single rate tariff, then this is an entirely moot point.

    The only issue of concern is that the meter should have been swapped in 2009 (and indeed again in 2019) as that's when the certification on the meter ended. Clearly that would have been before smart meters were even a thing.. But the certification only applies to the accuracy of the meter, not it's physical lifespan.

    As the meter was not swapped by the supplier back then, they clearly deemed it was unnecessary. In which case, it is completely unnecessary to swap it now! If it ain't broke...
