Hi All

Looking for some help regarding July '24 electric bill which I have been querying since early August......have email replies from at least 8 different energy specialists but all I get is we are looking into it and will update you.....then silence until I send another email.

The day/night readings are obviously out of sync and in some cases are transposed
and the reading on my bills have no correlation to the reading on my meter .....I can not access day/night readings but one reading only.

The most glaring error is in the copy and paste below which shows I am using 3321.2 kWh for 24 days
and has the night rate applied :

Since this bill it appears that all the day night readings are wrong but after more than a dozen emails no one has offered anything apart from " I hope this finds you well" or "we will update you"
I couldn't believe the reply this morning from yet another energy specialist asking me which month I was talking about when I had attached the bill and copy and pasted the thread of emails!!!
I would be most grateful for some help or advice as I have spent far too much time on this and it is indeed stressing me out.

I don't have smart metering but others suggest using the bright app and then downloading the last 13 months of your AUTOMATIC readings sent from your meter. These are not the same readings used for billing purposes which are specifically requested by the supplier. This will give you more understanding of what has happened.

With the data from Bright you'll be able to construct your own computation of consumption with particular emphasis on the reading on 1 July and 1 October which are relevant for price changes. I'm sure people here will be able to advise you further.
