Ev Car Tariff

I moved to EON Next for the EV car Trariff, had an electric car for a while have the charger understand the charging times.

Loop.Bright and my solar/battery system was able to get reading from the meter until "The Transfer Started"

Oh we are working as soon as quick as we can if there is an issue with the meter its could be 6 months to replace. Horse Poo.

Been put on a flexible tariff as unable to move to an EV Tariff straight away.

Costing a small forutne at the moment and even though my other provider had no issues with the Smart Meter and been working for years suddenly it stopped sending data and cant get off the Flexiable Tariff.

Another week of this and i and off to Octopus my battery system and charger support Octopus tariffs
    These guys understand smart meters

This is a scam to force people to pay higher rates, I am sure.....

Hi @Gunnie47 it's lovely to meet you. Can I ask have you spoken to anyone in the EV team about this? I would suggest speaking to someone to see if there is anything they can do, you can also raise a complaint if you're unhappy with the service you've had - here's the link to our Complaints Handling Procedure

Has anyone said what the issue with your smart meter is?

Oh right yes raise a complaint and then after 8 weeks take it to the ombubudsman.
    Thanks Yes will do that.

I have been on the email and phone continually, 21 days to do the transfer until its called a failed transfer and its automatic compensation of £30?
So....Charged the car last night £8.50 on the variaible tariff i cant get off but only moved to EON for the EV Tariff, £2.50 as estimated by the battery system.

Forgive me but would EON be any rush to swap to me to a EV tariff.
Seems there is a wait for 6 months to get a meter fixed or repalced....

The meter is linked to the network you can see that from the meter and but its still registered to BG according to the In House Display. The meter was working perfectly before the swap.

What do you think move to Octopus?

Whats the situation regarding a move to an EV Tariff, pushed onto a temp tariff! am I in a contract or not?
Clearly EON has not moved me to the contracted Tariff but the contract states that I will need to go onto a temp Tariff while the meter is aquired.

So EON have coved every base in terms of extracting every £ from the customer.
They get there ££`s what ever.
Legal poeple were all over that.
