Not so Smart!

    We have a smart meter.
    We have two electric vehicles.
We moved to Eon Next Tariff and had an electric charging point installed.
Eon are unable to read the meter.
    The WAN does not connect.
They say it is either a dead spot or our old building.
The engineer fitted a booster aerial.
Our meter is mounted in a new brick built out house.
The IHD is in demo mode apparently.
Our neighbours in the road have Smart meters and they get read OK
We live in North East Bedfordshire.

Why can't they read the meter?

Can you tell us what colours the lights are on your communications hub are and the frequency of flashing, each individually.

Have you tried downloading the Bright app, which might reveal that some information is getting through, and that information might help with the diagnosis.
how far is the IHD from the meter and how many walls does the signal have to pass through?

Our volunteers might then be able to assist you with a diagnosis.

@Millieviolet also have you checked whether the meters are in smart mode using https://smartmetercheck.citizensadvice.org.uk

If this can see your meters they are working and EOn should be able to read them
