I've logged into the website tonight to look at tariffs, but it seems there's been no meter readings from my Electricity & Gas Smart meters for 59 days. The app is showing my usage and E-on next haven't contacted me to say there is a problem.
I've therefore not had a bill since May. What do I need to do about this, to rectify it, or will someone realise at some point?
It looks like a communication failure between your Smart Meters and Eon Nexts servers. Don't worry, you are not the only customer this happens to, lots of customers of all energy companies have the same issue. It's happened to me more than once. The easiest thing to do is read your meters, log into your account and submit manual readings. That will generate a bill. It may be a one-off glitch, but I would advise you to read your meters on the usual monthly Smart Meter reading date to send them in if it happens again next month. If it does happen again, call Eon Nexts Customer Services and make them aware of it, and they'll flag it to the Smart Metering Team.
Evening @bmfield The best thing to do is take a reading from your meters and submit them via either your online account or app. That will trigger off a statement.
