They're just customers like everyone else. We're all free to choose who we buy our energy from. Eon Next pay their wages so why wouldn't they 'extoll their virtues'?
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
A lot of my friends down in Southampton worked at the Ford Transit plant in Swaythling. None of them drove a Transit.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
Obviously they know something we don't know or they would be EonNext customers too
Why do you think that? Some suppliers offer better deals to some customers and worse deals to other customers depending on usage. It's just about shopping around for the best deal that suits you. All I conclude is that there isn't much (if any) staff discount to be had.
You also have to consider that the Nexties may not actually be responsible for utilities in their homes. Maybe that's down to a husband/wife/cohabitant/parent being the account holder, not the individual.
I used to work for a food manufacturing company, but I can absolutely guarantee that (with one exception on rare occasions) I would deliberately go out of my way to avoid any of their products.
