If you install the latest Windows update, your VPN connections may fail. Microsoft says it's working on a fix.

The issue affects virtually every current version of Windows, both client and server:

Windows 10, version 21H2.



Windows Server 2022



Windows Server 2019



Windows Server 2016



Windows Server 2012 R2



Windows Server 2012

Windows Server 2008



Microsoft didn't provide a specific date as to when the glitch will be fixed other than to say: "We are working on a resolution and will provide an update in an upcoming release."

Normally I just let Windows update do its thing but I have not installed either the offending KB update or the Update Preview KB5036979 that I see in my Windows Update and will steer well clear of it until the Giro has finished (will be watching it from SBS Australia via the VPN)' Thanks for the info 👍 as have been sidetracked with scarifying + filling some large planter troughs the last few days.
