Current usage gas & elec not displayed correctly on IHD. Well under actual costs so what is the point of trying to monitor usage. Any ideas how to rectify this please

Well now I am really mad & fed up with EON customer service. Was told to reset IHD & if that did not work buy a new one. So I have AND GUESS WHAT THE TARIFF RATES ARE SHOWING EXACTLY THE SAME !! Old rates. Well under my CURRENT tariffs. So it’s clearly the meters that need updating.
Anyone any idea how I can get this done please
Hi @Annie6649 My IHD had the tariff problem last year and all I did was to send an email to hi@eonnext.com titled "Maunal Tariff Update Please" , the email content was:
Dear Sirs
My IHD is showing the wrong tariffs.
Please could you manually update my IHD.
Name
Address
Account number
The whole thing took about a week but problem was solved.
Forget the pounds and pence. Track your usage by actual kWh. You can do the sums with your own tariff rates to get the cost, but the actual usage is more of a heads-up on your energy consumption.
You reduce your kWh usage, you reduce your costs. It's as simple as that.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.

Same for me except the costs are well over what they actually are, but it matters not as I only take notice of the kWh consumption figures - these have always been correct whereas the £ figures are invariably incorrect.
Yes and got nowhere - told me how to reset & if that did nt work buy a new one. Reset didn’t work
