do I understand that the meter can be (and is being ) visually read, so manual readings are being made in the online account? <Yes>
Also the data from the gas meter is not going to Eon Next via the WAN, and the IHD is stuck showing a reading unchanged from installation. But the smart meter checker shows the meter connected to the network? <yes>
If Eon next are pointing to the industry wide problem, does this mean they are getting data of sorts, but its all zeros? < Good question, however Eon did not involve us in their 'investigation' and only closed it off with reference to this industry-wide issue >
One thing to check if its at all possible is whether the meter is displaying the correct tariff information. < I cannot tell how to obtain this info from the Liberty Gas 200 meter. We were given no information when it was installed >
If its not then requesting a tariff update might witness a change and demonstrate connectivity between the supplier and the meter. < A search suggests that I need to request that Eon run the SMETS Command Update Tariff Configuration in order to do this. Is that correct?>
And the IHD is showing a static reading for gas while the meter is incrementing? -Please confirm. < yes >
There is a similar thread here- without currently a solution posted - so you are not alone, although that's absolutely no comfort to you. <Interesting, thanks >
Many thanks.
