@PardSahota Hi mate. It seems that EON Next did a mistake charging me for more than £8000 one or two years ago, and the way they fixed was not the best one. Basically, they returned the money to me plus £7000 more. That made my direct debit to be very low, and after one year, they requested the whole amount (the original error and the superplus) to match everything. After more than 2 weeks dealing with the technical support, that is the result: I owned EON Next more than £2000 after they returned to me the original error (£8000) and they take back the superplus. I have been paying close to £1000 for three months to pay the debt and finally, this month I will be up to date. To be honest, once I pay the debt I will start thinking changing to a different company, specially when I can see that I am not the only one that was charged incorrectly with those crazy amounts.
@jcamposgranado these morons went through my account fully in april 2023 because of the same issue. since then ive cleared balance monthly. I shall be going to the energy ombudsman. Trying to charge me £950 of electricity for 600 units usage over the past 100days usage
