@retrotecchie Still use a "Standard Shopping List" spreadsheet in aisle order for each outlet, and it's just the two of us. It doesn't stop SWMBO going AWOL on the odd occasions though. 😵
Q. What's the difference between a shopping trolley and a wife?
A. With a bit of effort and persuasion, you can steer a shopping trolley...😉
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
Some produce is only available from certain supermarkets as I found earlier this week. Anyone who uses anchovies realises that the 'cheap' tinned stuff circa 60p morphs into £2-£3 per jar in the branded sections (plus I find they can go off when you open them up and forget to use them all within a week at best). In my locale the go to shop is LIDL for most stuff but I usually go to Tesco or Morrisons for that top-up shop on another day (fresh veg, kippers, UHT skimmed milk etc). I don't use ALDI much but was really pleased to see said anchovies in there - snagged 8 tins of the stuff. Perfect in a nice cheap, tasty store cupboard pasta meal such as Pasta Puttanesca
Always shop with a list these days (which I have in my hand) as I steer my wife through the store ....
I saw a token for sale the other day. OK, it had the Welsh flag on it so it was a bit 💖👍, but they wanted £1.20 for it. I'll just carry on using a half-sucked Strepsil 🤣🤣🤣
