I am currently on Next Fixed 12M v6 (from 1st Jan) which has an exit fee of £75. Today I have seen a new version of this, i.e. 'v7', with better rates.
Can I transfer to this new tariff without being subject to the £75 exit charge? Thanks 💙
@Beki as @doverboy mentioned before weigh up your options and see what's best for you. I always say look at the unit rates and exit fees not just the overall direct debit quote, that will help you to make the most informed choice 😊
@DebF_EONNext thanks for clarifying the exit fees or should I say no exit fees for those only changing tariff with E.ON Next on Next Loyalty Fixed v4 like @Nessie.

Thanks again Joe ... it seems the answer is no ... i.e. the exit fee would be charged.
From the new tariff e-mail ... "An exit fee of £75 per fuel will be applied if you change product or supplier before your tariff end date." This would be a case of changing product.
@doverboy I am wondering the same, but fairly sure that if I change from my current tariff, Next Loyalty Fixed v4 to the one suggested on my latest statement, Next Fixed 12m v6, there is a penalty of £75 for the gas and £75 for the electric. However, I think that it used to be the case that if you changed tariff within so many days of the expiry date there was no penalty. Can anyone confirm please and if so how many days.
more recent offers have included the tighter exit fees. I’m glad I stuck with one of the earlier fixes
