The Doom Engine is good on a Windows PC. You can run V1 of Wolfenstein off your floppy. Assuming you still have one that is. 🤣

Yeah - that's why I try to steer clear of brands like Galaxy, who take the stock Android OS and build their own version with enhancements/bloatware which they think will improve your experience
Nice thing about Android phones/tablets in general is you have the ability flash your own choice of OS onto them.
I've brought old devices back to life, like my 11 year old Nexus 7 tablet which had stock Google Android (support was terminated at ver-6), by flashing LineageOS (one of the leading AOSP OS versions) which is now running vanilla Android ver-11, and also gets the regular Android security updates 👍

Interesting 🤔 - PlayStore says the EOnNext app wasn't available for my Nexus7 (presumably since it thinks its Android V6 and the app is only suitable for V7 and above devices)
Since I'm running V11 on the tablet, I backed up the APK from my phone and ported it across to the Nexus - lo and behold: it works, and also has the functionality (and the January gas readings) in the latest 1.12.846 app update, which other people don't seem to be getting
