Not sure quite how I've managed it, but I've not heard any Michael Buble yet, apart from the Asda adverts. None of the Christmas top five are on my playlist.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
I was watching and listening to Bruce Springsteens version of Santa Claus is coming to Town on Youtube earlier. It's ok, but I wouldn't say it's one of his best.🎅
My grandparents had a 78 RPM record of an old song 'When Santa Got Stuck Up The Chimney', which they used to bring out every Christmas. I can't remember who sang it on the record, but it wasn't very good, and I didn't like it at all. I was surprised to see there are versions of it on Youtube. Here are some of the lyrics:
I can remember a 78 of “What do you buy a nudist for their birthday” - a bit racy for the time methinks!
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
I just blew the dust off a couple of old Christmas chestnuts I have on 45s. John Inmann singing Rudolf The Red Nosed Reindeer and an absolute Christmas classic from George Cole and Dennis Waterman - What Are We Going To Get For 'Er Indoors?!
With quality schmutter like that, who needs Wham or Mariah Carey?🤣🤣🤣😉
@retrotecchie
Shame about the white choc digestives. Still there'll probably be loads in January when no one has any money left to buy them.
I'm going to have a rummage in the attic tomorrow when everyone has gone to find an old 45 non Christmas favourite of mine. Je t'aime moi non plus. Ms Birkin 😍.
