I am not convinced that my Chameleon Smets2 IHD3 is connected to my Wifi network how can I achieve this. The Wifi 'arc' icon seems to just continually flash.
It doesn't connect to your WIFI but to the Zigbee HAN in the electricity meter hub. How long have you had it and has it ever worked?
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.

I've had it about 2-3yrs and it worked until 4 weeks ago and suddenly it is ' waiting for data' . I have followed instructions and currently it has been sitting by the elec meter for 2 hours. The fact that it mentioned WiFi somewhere threw me but I understand now it sounds a bit like my hue light connections. I have found EON particularly unhelpful. Thanks for the reply.
Several people seemed to experience dropouts on their IHD around the end of November for whatever reason. No idea what the problem is, but I suggest unplugging the IHD, letting the battery go flat, then plug it back in and try again. That sometimes helps restore communications.

My set up dropped out (IHD and DCC comms) on the 4th of December. Interestingly today IHD sparked into life 😳. DCC shows comms via Bright at 13:00 for both leccy and gas 😳. I'm not holding breath though. I'll still stick to the old fashioned way. Less stressful 🌞.
