I'm really hurt and disappointed that my comrades didn't pick up on my Pi comment. Perhaps like footballers we're a bit jaded by the toll the forum takes on us. But hopefully it will be very quiet over Christmas, because we've all got better things to do then - haven't we? Like getting our spirits up - with my recent haul I've now got 7 bottles of various whiskies to get through - and I'll try my utmost to provide some empties for the recycle bin.

I think I would have spotted 3.142 but 3.14 wasn’t close enough to make me think of Pi.
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
Quite frankly my taste buds are not that honed, and I always take my whisky diluted with something fizzy. Sacrilege I know, but even worse would be inflicting such treatment on an expensive single malt. So I tend to stick to well known blended brands (I'm not too fussy which) when they're on offer, or recently in the Doha duty free shop!

Absolutely nothing wrong with a mainstream blended whisky. I haven't been through Doha Duty Free since 2018, but when I was doing ten or fifteen trips a year they usually had an acceptable White and Mackay or a Grouse at a very attractive price 👍. That's if the boss hadn't put in dibs on a bottle of Bombay Sapphire and blown my quota 🤣🤣🤣. Mind you, in return, I'd nobble his baccy ration to make up for it.
