Afternoon and welcome. I would suggest posting some photos of your meters, IHD, and comms hub. Also could you tell us the status of the lights. Colour, flashing (roughly frequency once every ?? Seconds), the more information the better.
@WizzyWigg thanks for reply where is the comms hub mate don't know much about all this. it's my elderly parents meter and their panicking a little.
The comms hub can be in various places near the meters. Normally nowadays it's connected to the electric meter. It should have the following named lights on it, HAN, WAN, and may be others. Let us know how you get on. 👍 Don't panic we will help if we can. 🌞
Yup. If the meter readings are not changing, then the meter itself is not working and needs replacing. Simple as that.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
@WizzyWigg yep meter seems to be frozen readings not going up. just spoke to a very helpful woman at eon on phone over an hour and she's trying to repair connection could take up to 3 days, if not engineer visit and that could take up to 8 weeks. thanks for replies guys. great community forum.
