@WizzyWigg thanks for reply where is the comms hub mate don't know much about all this. it's my elderly parents meter and their panicking a little.

@WizzyWigg also i got them the latest ivie bud ihd but electric meter is just stuck on same reading, done all eon asked but no luck.

@maxamus73 Please confirm that it's the actual meter reading that's not changing and not the readings on the IHD.

Yup. If the meter readings are not changing, then the meter itself is not working and needs replacing. Simple as that.

@WizzyWigg yep meter seems to be frozen readings not going up. just spoke to a very helpful woman at eon on phone over an hour and she's trying to repair connection could take up to 3 days, if not engineer visit and that could take up to 8 weeks. thanks for replies guys. great community forum.
