Have been in touch with Eon next for over 12months as my ihd has stopped working Smet 1 also repeated requests for gas readings.
I am 75 years old and registered disabled ,I have offered to buy a IHD that works or update my not so smart meter,can not believe the response from Eon ,next Lie after Lie no help whatsoever. -

Sorry to hear this but it is not uncommon. As long as you can get readings from your meters to submit manually then they will allocate a low priority.
It is possible to buy a new IHD and there is a thread here about replacements. There's no guarantee that a new IHD will fix all the problems of course. If you can tell us a bit more about the issues then we may be able to offer more advice.I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit. -

Are Eon Next able to read your actual meters automatically? Or are you forced into reading the meters yourself? -
Sadly having to provide meter readings, but have said that they would read the meters every three months.,This is of no use to me because of my age ,I need to keep a weekly idea of what we are using
