What 'phone numbers do E.on use?

    the electricity meter communications are not reliant on any battery power, although gas meters are. I have heard of meters that use mobile communication being used in the north as an exception when the radio system cannot work. It is though rarely utilised.

    do you have a functioning in home display? The meter reading could be got from that.

    I think I already am as I try to do this with all energy suppliers I have been with over the past decade. I'm fairly fit & active for my age but just in case I suffer brain rot I do this with all utilities including water. I do have a Mitie in home display that I bought myself as the one supplied by Eon is a waste of space. Even if I stand in the cupboard where the meter is installed on the outside (less than 12 inches away I reckon, the Eon IHD is almost useless). I don't have to do that with the Mitie so I'll just look somewhere on it for the reading & submit that. My experience with the Heat Pump over 14 months is about the same overall as my old dual fuel contract, around £1K pa but am prepared to spend a little more because I want to do as much as possible to reduce my carbon footprint. Thanks for your input.
