This was eventually resolved in December 2024, it took multiple phone calls and emails, and a couple of engineer visits, eventually new smart meters were fitted. All seems to be working now, smart readings are being taken, and usage showing on the eon next app.
I also use the Hugo app to track usage, for some reason this still can’t see gas usage, only electric, not sure why that is, maybe I expect too much?
