I have an interesting anomaly that might apply to any ex - NPower customers who still have the good old SMETS1 Landis+Gyr, Trilliant, and Duet set up, and want to use Hildebrand Bright or Loop apps.
My meters have now been transmitting data to the DCC for just over a week. That is according to the Eon Next app. Although 3 days behind the data is absolutely spot on to my spreadsheet. On the other hand neither Bright or Loop are showing data for that period. Researching I have found that there is a bug that blocks access to some meters by non utility companies.

Reason: Extra information
Strange that your meters have communicated with Bright in the past though 🤔
Not anymore. No data since 4th October. Now all on Eon Next app, (except for past 3 days). Saying that I've still got a Red X on the online account. Hey ho all good fun.
That health check thing in the online account can take a while to catch up with reality. My missing data is missing in both the Eon Next and the Bright apps. I toyed with trying Loop or Hugo but why should they be any different 🤔

They're not really. In my case it was part of an experiment to see why my data was showing in the Eon Next app and not Bright. It says a minority are experiencing this problem and truthfully so far I only found 2 other posts. Interestingly one post included a post from @theunknowntech 's mentor.
Ah, I wasn’t questioning why you tried Loop. Like I say, I have considered it myself. I just figure that with two apps, one of which is the supplier’s having my data missing, I don’t hold out any hope of finding it elsewhere ☹️

JoeSoap didn't think you were 👴. I included the reasoning for those out there who might be saying did he try this or do that .😉🤓. Yep tried absolutely everything and travelled down every avenue to find an explanation. Every time it came to the bug that blocks access from non utility companies for steam powered SMETS1 meters 😂😂😂😂. I would love to be found wrong. 😶 I look forward to the 31st of December 2025, (may be) 😂😂😂.
The way I read it the bug applies to new meters. Old meters don’t need a bug to not communicate with the apps.
Have another read and see what you think 🤔
Do you know Joe you are correct. My old meters don't need the bug. I think I got carried away, (or should have been), trying to explain to myself why one app could see the data and the other couldn't. Right ho on with the cloak of invisibility 👻. 😂😂😂😂😂 Back to the drawing board. 🙃
Which ever way you look at it, we seem to be in the lap of the gods when it comes to intermittent communication, whether that be with Eon Next or apps 🤪
