I doubt many folk will see too much return as the DFS/Energy Shift was a complete failure across the industry. Ultimately, they ended up firing up an additional 2GW of capacity by bringing on stream the coal-fired power station at Ratcliffe-on-Soar, which was exactly what the shift events are intended to stop happening. If anyone gets any money, it won't be very much as the pot of cash available for each event is entirely dependent on not having to pay for extra emergency generation.
Wind currently outstripping nuclear by over 1GW and coal down to below a gigawatt. With temperatures back in double figures by Thursday (6°C here today), demand should be dropping off again. So probably no new events for the next week or so. Even gas generation has fallen by 6%.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
This is not a surprise and this time I was not trying to be disruptive but actually the property in question is in hibernation and so whether it is a 95% saving or a 166% increase the values are so low as to be negligible.
I see EON are on the ball telling me they want more of my money from January. Shame they aren't so keen to tell me what they are giving me for 29th November.
I'd have thought it would all be done by computer, should be relatively quick to process. Seems like it might be by hand instead, the way the emails are drip feeding out.

They have admitted to messing up the percentages in the emails so I would think it’s going to take some time to put right and get correct emails sent out…
