E.on have messed up my meter readings for the last 9 months

Has anyone else had this - E.on have given different meter readings for nine months as they have been reading from the wrong meter. I have made an official complaint that they still haven't resolved.

When you say 'reading from the wrong meter' do you mean actually taking smart readings from a smart meter, or sending a meter reader round to read a non-smart meter?
In either case, if they have been reading the 'wrong one', does your MPAN and meter serial number shown on your billing statement match up with your actual meter, or is that information incorrect?
If you have a non-smart meter, have you regularly read your meter every month and submitted your own readings via your account online or by phone?
How did it take 9 months to notice the problem? Has anything changed since 9 months ago? New meter? Upgrade to smart? House move or anything? Some more detailed information will help us to offer advice.
