We've just had new gas and electricity smart meters installed, today - and all tariff information (standard R1 and night rate electricity R2 and gas) are displaying incorrect tariffs. As is our IHD.
We have had all manner of problems with having failed smart meter installs previously and would really like to get this rectified as soon as possible, as the tariffs showing (standing charge and per kwh) are higher than they should be.
Thanks so much for that information@JoeSoap - that is reassuring to hear. While it is frustrating not to be able to utilise the IHD to its full extent it is the billing that concerns me most of all. Thank you!
You're welcome. The issue with incorrect rates being applied to smart meters has been apparently under investigation for a while. You could read the whole thread but you'd need plenty of coffee and biscuits to sustain you through it 😂
