looking for advice… why are Eon next now taking two meter readings a month for my gas & electricity? 16th of the month then again at the end of a month?
I’ve got a smart meter, fixed tariff pay by D/D but the last couple of months they are deducting 4 transactions per statement?!?!
We check our statement after the 16th, add additional top funds if required as we ‘break even’ with the current dd payment and want to build up a small credit so trying to keep it slightly topped up before we start to switch the heating on again but the figures constantly change due to two lots of deductions a month?!!
If you haven’t already done so, I would suggest contacting customer service with this one. See Contact Us in the purple section at the bottom of this page for details.
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
I had a similar issue, except they were taking readings every week and expecting payment every week. I asked them to switch it to monthly via email and they switched it without issue.
