I have a dual fuel tariff and smart meters. I received my July statement the other day but there were no gas details on it. I have emailed on the usual address twice but still no reply. Maybe my gas smart meter has stopped functioning but if so why have I not been contacted to give a manual reading?
I have not been using my IHD - would that tell me if there was a problem?

This is really odd. I checked my meters on the website you sent me and they couldn't find my meters. I sent them the meter details that are on my Eon Next account page.
I also sent Eon Next details of my current gas meter reading and suddenly I get a charge of 56p on July 29th and a pending charge of £5.41 on July 30th. In total that covers my usage for July as I checked the figures from my last bill. These dates and figures correspond to the dates of my email queries . I'm still none the wiser as to what is going on and why there should be a time lapse - never happened before.
I've never had a need to use the smart meter checker so can't help with that I'm afraid. If I read things right, at least your account is up to date so hopefully customer service can enlighten you as to what has happened.

Afternoon. I am wondering what meter numbers you were using on the Citizens Advice website. The meter numbers on the Eon Next Account website aren't the MPAN or the MPRN numbers. I would suggest looking at one of your statements. In your statement you'll see 'Supply Number ' for electricity and 'Meter Point Reference ' for gas. Those are the numbers you'll require. 😉
