Are you claiming ownership of the sun? Are you hoping to claim royalties on its heat and light?
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
Nope. Free to all, no royalties and (even better) no standing charges!
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
I totally agree with everyone. I haven't laughed so much for at least the past 3 years. A little bit of levity is the best medicine particularly with the way mental health is. Let's be honest the thread was for an explanation "for a laugh". 👴
@retrotecchie and @meldrewreborn my comment was not aimed to anyone and it wasn't to highlight that you have done anything wrong, I simply wanted to keep a nice, constructive and inclusive discussion going for everyone.
For me personally, renewable energy and sustainability is something that I am very passionate about and I wanted to check is there's anything in specific that I can support @Hertz in understanding sustainability 😀
I hope so. Obviously the system is not fully installed yet, but testing today shows some promise.
The weak link is definitely the fusion reactor itself, but when that is on full song and the moderator problems have been alleviated, I'll be a happy camper.
Drawn off load today totalled a whole 0.02kWh during testing. All I used power for was to charge the battery on my cordless drill.
So....that saved me about 0.6p on my electricity bill today. Every little helps, as they say.
So far, the unit cost of my fusion power is running at about £9498.50 per kWh. Bargain, methinks 🙄
Two full days in and despite the intermittent rain and clouds, I've managed to generate a net yield of 450Wh of free energy and have consumed 300Wh of that.
Which means that my per kWh cost has plummeted to £633.23/kWh and I have saved about 10p on my grid usage. Onto a winner here 👍

Have you ever thought of connecting your exercise bicycle 🚲 to an alternator to give it that little extra boost. 🤔
You'd save even more money and keep fit. 😂
