You've got them well-trained Joe. In a previous life when I had teenogres in the roost, I ended up fitting a sub-meter into each boy's bedroom so they (and I) could see exactly how much they were wasting, er, I mean using. When that didn't cause the penny to drop, I swapped them for coin-operated prepay meters. That did the trick. 🤑
Haha… love it 👍😂
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
Of course once your Bright does update, it will still be with the wrong rates 🤪😂
Yep, at least the IHD might agree with something 😂😂😂😂.
I have to agree with @retrotecchie and @Mailman the tariff aspect of the IHD isn't important but you are right it would be nice if it worked. I love my IHD, it's on my desk and used as a clock ⏰ with coloured lights. 😂
👍. Sure does. Did you see the write up in today's Telegraph about Evs could cause an increase in road damage. More potholes! Now then that's something different. Suppose to be twice as much as petrol ⛽ cars.
It's the weight of the batteries. EVs are a lot heavier than an equivalent ICE vehicle.
According to Countryfile today, they can now add a few percent of unrecyclable plastic waste to pothole tarmac and, in tests, it lasts 7 times longer than regular bitumen.
One technology causes a problem, they invent another one to solve it!
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
There's not a lot going for these vehicles is there. Resale value less than ICE vehicles, reduced travel distance, and now increased road damage. I suppose that's progress 😂.
There's not a road up here that hasn't got a pothole. 😯
So instead of a potholed road it’s a roaded pothole. Reminds me of DLT on the radio many years ago when he used to send out phoneless cords as quiz prizes,
That’s given me an idea for a birthday present for Flo Soap… a gownless evening strap 😂
